EMERGENCIES
​​When you have an animal health concern after normal business hours, VetTriage veterinarians are on standby 24 hours a day to assist. For a $50 fee, you will be connected to the VetTriage veterinarians on a live video chat session.
They will triage your animal and give you at-home care guidance, or if they determine hospital care is necessary, coordinate your visit with the on-call veterinarian when available, or nearest emergency hospital.

TOXIN EMERGENCIES
VetTriage veterinarians are not specialists in toxicology. If your pet has ingested a medication or toxin (people medicines, toxic foods, rat bait, chocolate, etc), then it's probably best to also get a hold of the Pet Poison Helpline. Veterinary Toxicologists usually staff this line and they can give you more specific advice regarding the specific toxin your pet ingested.
